i did some quick research and found breasts leaking fluid is a sign of something. whether it be something as simple as a side effect from medication or something more serious such as breast cancer. i would just hate for usaidizi (the one who posted) to not get checked just in case.

My question is if pregnancy is not causing the slight leaking what would be some causes of the leaking? Could it be hormonal or possibly breast cancer. My breasts are still slightly swollen and slightly tender with a little bit of that colostrum coming out every now and then.

Nine months ago I saw my doctor because I expressed clear fluid from my right nipple during my monthly breast exam. The doctor tried to get a sample for the lab but got it all over fingers instead so he did blood tests for prolactin and thyroid function, both of which came out negative.

Yeah I'm having that same symptom. I am also leaking fluid from my breast. I have felt pregnant lately but I don't believe I am b/c I haven't missed a period. ... As a general rule of thumb, the only time when fluid should be leaking from a breast is during pregnancy and breast-feeding. When it happens any other time, it is best to get the breast or breasts examined by a physician just to be sure that there isn't some underlying health problem that needs to be addressed.
