The cloak at first glance seems to be a simple semi-circular cloak. Very much like the Moroccan Burnoose pattern we talked about at first. However, like many things in this movie—things are not as they seem.

This pattern is a little more complex that the basic rectangular pattern but it does produce a very nice cloak without too much effort. I have used it to make three cloaks so far and will probably make more in the future.

I recommend getting fabric that is the width you want the length of the cloak to be plus at least 6 inches. I have used queen sized fleece blankets to make cloaks, they are very warm and safe for those with wool allergies.
