Clock Speed: Tell Me When it Hertz ... Raise the clock speed - In the analogy, this corresponds to reducing the time available for each class period. If the teacher can talk faster, and if the students behave and listen more closely, this can work up to a point.

Home > Midmarket CIO Definitions - Clock speed ... In a computer, clock speed refers to the number of pulses per second generated by an oscillator that sets the tempo for the processor. Clock speed is usually measured in MHz (megahertz, or millions of pulses per second) or GHz (gigahertz, or billions of pulses per second).

Clock Speed; The clock speed of a CPU is defined as the frequency that a processor executes instructions or that data is processed. This clock speed is measured in millions of cycles per second or megahertz (MHz). The clock itself is actually a quartz crystal that vibrates at a certain frequency when electricity is...

Decades of computing history have taught one lesson very well: The most important part of the computer is the processor, and the higher the processor's clock speed, the better.

A couple of corrections, PSP has a 333Mhz CPU ( it goes up and down as it is needed ) and that CPU has been there sine version 1.0. Changing the clock speed on a console revision is generally a very bad idea. And 2nd, iPhone is still quite far from being a mobile gaming device.
