actually, in a casual conversation or if you want to express yourself in a casual manner, there is no need for you to place a comma before a subordinating conjunction. some english books consider it as ... I'm not 100% sure of this, but I wouldn't use a comma or anything else. I feel as that it does look odd to me as well.
