Subject: computer won't turn off; ... Attempt to shut down computer, possibly this will fix your problem. After running regclean, should you have problems with windows or any other application, click the 'undo' file regclean created. It should be sat on your desktop, if you originally ran regclean from there.

When I try to shut down my Win98 program it refuses to turn off. I hit Start----Shut Down and nothing happens. It won't work in Restart either. RFC 1 - Host Software ... I think i have a virus which causes my computer to shut off and reboot. The computer goes on, it loads, then shuts off. Is this a virus, if yes then how do i get rid of it?i tried using the backup the computer comes with but it never finishes it shuts off while in the middle of downloading.
