copy as root Installation & Upgrades ... hi im trying to install the splash theme that comes with mac4lin but i need to copy a file as root to /usr/lib/usplash; how do i copy as root? ... ok thx but what if i try to copy a whole folder, it tells me 'omiting directory'

Re: automatically copy data file to root directory, asp.net ... App_Data folder to store your application's XML data ? It's much safer than storing an XML file in the root directory, anyway, since XML files in the App_Data directory are not served to clients, even if requested directly.

Today I tarballed the working directory of PDCLib to do some editing while on the road. When I had a minute, I untarred the archive on a Windows machine, because I had some ideas regarding how to handle errno in a way that doesn’t stall the FPU when handling math.h code.
