FMRFamide-like immunoreactivity (FLI) was detected in the nervous system of the crayfish Procambarus clarkii using an antiserum that recognizes extended RFamide peptides. Immunocytochemistry revealed FLI in neuronal somata, axons and varicose processes within the central nervous system.
