There are 1,728 (12 x 12 x 12) cubic inches in a cubic foot, so divide the number of cubic inches by 1,728 and the answer will be in cubic feet. Example: 3456 cubic inches = 3456/1728 cubic feet = 2 cubic feet

To calculate a truckbox or one with a simple angle, measure Height, Width, Top depth and Bottom depth. and use the formula (HxWx(TD+BD)/1728)/2 to convert it to cubic Ft.
