Tom's Hardware: Topic D-Drive / CD R problems ... I recently lost the ability to use my D Drive - it doesn't recognise CD's or ; DVD's. I have followed the trouble shooting guide to no avail. The Dvice ; Manager says there are no problems. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the drive.

I was messing around in places I had no business being in considering my computer knowledge. Somehow I have managed to totally block all access to my C: drive (also my D: drive, but I'm not as concerned with that at the moment.) When I open Computer, my C and D drives show 0 bytes used space/0 bytes free space!!!
