From the MS-DOS prompt on any client machine I get the following error when I try to copy a file to the NT server "Extended Error 65". That is not the most fustrating part. Sometimes the server will allow the file to be copied but then truncate it and NOT report an error.

you need to get a copy of xcopy - there are toe files to make xcopy work (my memory is hazy but I think its xcopy.com and xcopy.mod) you will be able to get them of a boot disk (try a win 95 or 98 boot disk) copy them into your c:\dos directory them you can use xcopy commands (including the /s switch)
