Yes, it is dangerous to wake a sleep walker because when you wake them their heart can beat really fast and I think they can pass out or die.

A sleepwalker may perform fairly elaborate tasks, such as getting dressed, and may walk around the house, turning on lights, opening and shutting doors, etc. ...
