Choosing and using hair color can be tricky. The color on the box does not tell you what result you will get over your natural shade and there's lots that can go wrong if you're bleaching your hair. If you over-bleached, don't do a thing without professional help or you risk severe breakage.

I recommend consulting a hairdresser in choosing the shade to be applied. Lightened or bleached hair often needs to be prepared to accept the tint or will require a shade with more red or gold pigment than her own color to achieve a natural look.

This is what my hair stylist said. She also said that even though my skin is definitely warm, my hair color would look way too warm even for me when bleached. She also said that she can tint it to mak ... why would u take your hair to stage 9 or 10 then apply a brunnette shamppo? if u indeed want to be blond.

Is it true that after you've bleached your hair it wont grow back the same as your color before? ... What I have done with clients in the past who had bleached out highlights is I would foil the hair and use the color at the root, use a very light demi permanent color over the bleached hair shaft (in the foil) and use a darker demi permanent color (in your case probably a dark blond) on all of the hair not in the foils.
