everytime i try to download the directx9.0c it gives me the same error message.'A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted..' i know my comp is a p.o.s, but i know this can be fixed. i just need someones help please.

I am trying to update DirectX to 9.0c and get an installation failure which states "A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid".

I'm having the same problem, i have downloaded directx 9.0c without sp2 but i can't install it- it says that a cabinet file necessary for installation canot be trusted? Any other ideas?

So I do and after DirectX 9.0c finishes downloading, I get a pop up window that says there is a cabinet file that cannot be trusted and the installation has failed. What do I do now!?!?!
