Disney's lushly romantic version of Beauty and the Beast is, in my opinion, one of their best animated films. The interaction between Belle and the Beast is a pleasure to watch, and the music composed by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman is a Disney rarity--neither boring, nor annoyingly sweet.
