To me, diversity means protecting the First Amendment. It means being open-minded and listening to more than just one side of the story; to being open to change one s mind; to actually paying attention to what one s opponent has to say.

There is a damned if you do, damned if you don't atmosphere about the "diversity" movement. It's that many have been trained to assume that all whites are racist by their very nature - so whether one ignores or engages the issue of race, it must be for malicious rather than well-intended reasons.
