Girls and women also produce smegma (more of it than intact males in fact) but it's never thought of as such a problem with them. Just as women are not dripping smegma from their genitals there entire lives that they have such a difficult time cleaning up, any intact male most likely will not have the same problem.

Both women & men produce smegma--in fact, women produce much more of it. It is the same exact stuff; even the smells are identical. Why fear it with men and embrace it with ... In this article, Dr Eskridge defines circumcision of girls as meaning the removal of the clitoral hood or prepuce. 1. Eskridge does not seem to have caught up with research showing that there are no glands under the foreskin, but it is interesting that she acknowledges that girls produce smegma just as abundantly as boys.
