I believe in fate only in the sense that time is a straight line. Everything that is to come has already happened in time. Our minds are just travelling through that line at a reasonably constant rate. So yes, we are fated, since everything has already happened.

Well, I never used to believe in fate and destiny. But, the events that took place in my life last year did change my views a lot. I still believe that we can change a lot of what might happen to us, but can we really fight our destinies?
