South African .NET Developer Portal ... Since my last post and the replies I’ve had on Part1, I have gathered even more evidence that fate does exist, and that we are NOT in control of our own destiny or not the whole of it in any case.

Fate cannot exist. If it did, there would be no choice, no god, no conciousnous (excuse the spelling, im drunk) and therefore, no life. I do however believe that, when we are faced with a choice, for instance, abortion or birth, the world splits;

I believe we are in fact all manifestations of one "divine rule" that governs all in existance and this means that although we are guided by laws both physical and non-physical, we are an expression of that law and therefore are t...

Nope, there is no fate. How do I explain the uncontrollable things in my life? Chance and biology. A particular sperm made it's way into a particular egg one day 41 years ago. If either of those two items didn't make it, I wouldn't exist...

Because of you, I know that fate must exist. ... Send this page to anyone whom you value as a friend. Billions of people exist in the world, but only a select few are your friends. Show them your appreciation. Fate is a wonderful force--- so is friendship.

As the book drew to an end it left me with a rather strange feeling inside, that of hope and it almost had me believing in fate as well. It certainly will leave you feeling rather emotive and warm-hearted but I do feel the need to criticise the story ... Does Fate Exist? - Where Rainbows End - Cecelia Ahern Printed Book...

Can fate exist in multiple options? Sometimes it’s fate that he lives, and sometimes it’s fate that he doesn’t? That seems to go against the very notion of fate. If it is beyond our control, why would both options still be possible?

I do not think fate exists, it would not make sense for everything that happens to be predetermined. What would the point of living be if our choices and outcomes were actually figments of our imagination. However this is really proof that fate does not exist more so a reason why i choose not to believe in it.

Though to be honest, I can’t see any reason for fate to exist, with or without God. If some sort of god exists, and gave humans freewill, then fate cannot exist. If no sort of god exists at all, then there can be no power in this world to write fate, so fate cannot exist.
