Supposedly this is less harsh on your skin than regular Retin-A. That wasn't my experience. My skin was actually redder using Retin-A Micro than regular Retin-A. Regular Retin-A also seemed to work better, especially for scars, which I have.

It wasn't the Micro Retin-A, it is was that damnable Clear & Blender!! But I must confess, I kinds sorta rubbed (OKAY!! OKAY!!! ... Day 24 - April 21, 2001; I started doubling Clear on my "spots" and Retin A as well. I will back off if I get highly irritated. If I can drag Marc away from his work I will take pics today.

Common brand names: Retin-A, Retin-A Micro, Retisol-A, Stieva-A, Avita, Renova ... If you have mild acne it might work for you, but it didn't do much for me. My chest and back acne, as stated under Pros, began to clear up after about a month. If I had been able to stay on it longer, maybe my face would have cleared up.
