Judging a dog by its color? March 22, 2009 4:14 PM Subscribe ... It must vary by region, because at the greyhound adoption shelter at which I volunteered black dogs were harder to adopt. Fawn greyhounds, then white/patch, then brindles, then black greyhounds were the order in which people picked them.
