I have swimmers ear as well, and after a trip to the er, then my ear just about swole shut, then I went to the Dr., and that did no good, finally they refered me to an ears nose and throat Dr. I went to him yesterday, and he jammed a wick in my ear as well, and it hurt!

Hopefully, thanks to the power of the wick, ear drops, and the human body’s ability to heal, I’m on the mend. ... The point of this comment is to let other people know that yes, there is a chance your wick may hurt but there is also a chance that if a good, gentle health person does the treatment, it might be heavenly!!!

I currently have an ear wick in place due to an ear infection. I did not get the immediate relief that you felt with the release of the pressure. But I am on day two now and ... "There is a chance your wick may hurt but there is also a chance that if a good, gentle health person does the treatment, it might be heavenly!!!"
