During April, 1998 all members of our academy traveled to Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, New Jersey to experience first-hand a seashore ecosystem. Three different groups went on the 20th, 21st and 28th. Months before the trip the students investigated the non-living parts of an ecosystem--soil, rocks and water.
