I discovered my elastoplast allergy about 10 years ago when the back of my ankles were blistering from a pair of heels. I was given bandaids from a friend, and the next day I was left with large, angry red raised marks exactly where the bandaid was, save the middle rectangle where the gauze was.

I was really hit with a bad allergy a few weeks back and I documented it so I can find out what went wrong. The doctors I saw still could not figure it out. I do still think it had something to do with the elastoplast I used as it really became bad after that, but I still need to do the allergy test to prove it.

And this time, I remembered to mention my allergy to Elastoplast, so I didn’t get a huge rash around my scar area! It took me weeks to get over having another caesarean (and I still think about it sometimes), mainly because now I can never have the experience of a natural birth.
