I told the lady I was writing a letter to CompuCredit (CompuCredit manages the Emerge accounts) and that I was faxing a copy to the Vice President of Credit Card Services at FNBO. The lady gave me the name and fax number of the Customer Service Manager at CompuCredit.

Is this really a credit card company? They seem to just be a collection agency that charges huge fees by claiming to be a legitimate company. Closed my account and is now charging 30% interest & over ... They don't even report my payments to the credit bureaus, no report since the account was sold by Providian to Emerge.
