I cleaned the air solinoid with carb cleaner it had some gunk in it now it is working . the engine seems to be doing alot better as long as I don't drive it . Idles fine and revving doesn't bother it but when I drive it I get code 43 I had the sync checked it was only off 3 degrees.

I've just found the problem that was causing my bad gas milage, stalling, engine cut-out, ... My 96 kota idle a little rough not much but when accelerating especially going up hill it backfires and spits and sputters violently. I replaced the MAP, coil, wires, cap, button, pickup, plugs, and idle speed sensor.
