If you remember, I wrote just a short time ago about whether or not it was allowable to congratulate the bride or whether you should say best wishes.

on 3/26/2006 It is not proper etiquette to bring wedding gifts to the reception. It is proper etiquette to have gifts mailed or delivered, either before or within 3 months after the wedding. Think about it: Why should the bride and groom, or other members of the wedding party, have to deal with gifts at the reception?
