I'm a fit 40-odd guy, who for years has been following anti-allergy diets, but nonetheless suffered from excess phlegm for years. Each year it progressively got worse and became really, really annoying. Whenever a flu came around, I would get pummelled by the flu, suffering incredible congestion for days/weeks.
