Excessive dust is an indication of poor indoor air quality. Chances are if you have to dust too often, then you have air quality problems other than the dust you see. But let's just talk about dust today.

Excessive dust? The Watercooler ... None the less, I am overwhelmed by dust lately. I have 4 animals, so I know, that is a bad start - and I have hardwood floors which shows everything - but there is dust everywhere! ... Re: Excessive dust?

Sorry to have to post bad news but the amount of dust you describe is pretty normal -- at least in my experience. Keeping the windows shut will minimize some dust being blown in but you would have to weight that against living in an airless home.

OK, I've lived in the UK long enough to know that this is the only country where "leaves on the track" stop our trains but this seemed a new level of sillyness. Was the dust "high in fat or low in fat" I wonder? ... Excessive DUST?! by j-sin.

I've even tried to vacuum the dust while blowing. No luck. My question is simply this: Is this excessive, or is this a normal amount of dust on a sensor? (see image - I greatly tweaked the image levels so the dust was easily visible on flickr);
