In this experiment the equations of motion for an object with uniform acceleration are derived and they are checked using the same apparatus as the Distance/time and Speed/time Graphs experiment.

However, he did perform many experiments that upset Aristotelian physics and paved the way for Newton in his development of the laws of motion[4,5]. On August 2, 1971, astronaut David Scott repeated the experiment with a geologist's hammer and a falcon's feather while standing on the airless surface of the moon while...

The laws of motion explain how force affects the movement of an object. Many objects such as trains, airplanes, and theme park rides demonstrate these laws. In this experiment, you will work with a water bottle rocket to observe Newton's laws.

While the principle is fairly straightforward, this video is such an endearing representation of the concept of relative motion that we had to share it. ... If you look closely it also seems to have a bit of forward "kick" after hitting the ground due to the rotation of the ball. But physics experiments are never perfect.
