RAID 0: Striping ... RAID 3: Data Striping, Dedicated Parity ... Mode 1 is basically the complete opposite of RAID 0. The goal here is not to boost performance, but to ensure data security. When reading or writing data, all drives of the array are used simultaneously.

Explain RAID please Hard Drive Upgrade ... Ok my motherboard will support RAID 0, 1, 0+1, and 5. I would like to know what each raid version does. My scenario specifically: I will be using 4 320GB Sata Hard Drives and using raid I want to get 1 TB + 256GB (1,280GB) of storage space.
