Truss Rod Adjustment Limitations and Problems ... I see this most often on 50's-60's Fender maple necks though they don't have the corner on the market. The instrument will have to be inspected to determine whether planeing is an option and one should rarely expect necks in this condition to act perfectly normal.

I was planning to talk about neck re-sets this month, but then a guitar came into the shop with a more unusual problem, so I thought I'd focus on it this month.
