Fire and Ice Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

Robert Frost is a really fine poet. thank you sooo much for writing this. ... Especially from religion, being there is a belief that the end of days would be when God consumes the world in fire so He can purify it. I believe Frost is saying that he hears people say that the world would end in fire others saying in ice.
