[Archive] Anal Fissure Bowel Disorders ... I had fissure surgery December 16th of last year. My fissure had been around for something like 5 years! It would periodically rip open, bleed for a few days, then close up. Finally, the thing opened up and stayed that way, leading to lots of pain, rectal spasms, etc.
