[Archive] "D" drive full Performance and Maintainance of XP ... I keep getting a messaged telling me my "D" drive is full. When I run Disk Cleanup, nothing changes. I don't have a bunch of extraneous programs loaded on my PC. The drive is; 2.91GB, which I assume is the default size.

I understand from your email that whenever you boot up to the windows screen you are seeing a pop up error message saying "low disk space you are running out of disk space on HP RECOVERY (D:)." I did that, and the device mgr says there is nothing wrong with the drive. I don't want to spend any $$ to have someone else fix this... I also tried a "system recovery" but there are no recover dates that seem to work when I use that tool.
