I do agree with you that empiricism has its flaws in that many times we cannot trust our senses (e.g. we can only see the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum with our eyes); However, physics is worth studying because it lets us have accurate, though not 100% certain, ideas about how nature works.

Although it must be said that reason can flaw logic too (no statement is absolute), and for the same reason we could find that reason is flawed whilst it flaws empiricism, and of course empiricism is flawed when attempts to flaw flawed reason (consciousness is finite, we cannot perceive everything).

This is likely, for such things often do pass me by, so I recommend reading Kant, as you say you shall, and just as well reading Hume, who essentially showed the flaws empiricism (or dualistic empiricism, as you call it) has.

Because "Science" is still interpreted through human language, which is an imperfect shared set of assumptions, it too, is subject to it's own flaws of empiricism and exclusivity. What scares me, are perfectly natural beliefs interpreted via fictitious television: Law & Order justice.
