Fleas can live in any type of hair or fur, as long as they have a food source. That food source being that yummy red stuff they so enjoy, blood! I have even seen fleas on birds! If a human suspects that they have fleas, they should get either a bottle of puppy shampoo, or lice shampoo, to get rid of them.
