I had a central air/heat unit installed in 1990, but it has a breaker of its own as the computer does.

We moved into our first house a few months ago. Most of the hardwired lights flicker throughout the house. Appliances and things that are plugged in do not seem to flicker. I know flickering can be a big problem, but we have been trying to isolate it without an electrician for now.

The lights in my house have suddenly began occasionally flickering. The house is a 1930s house that has had a few updates on the electical. We have the newer style breakers (that you flip, not push in). Most of the house is 3 wires, some of it is 2 wires with the old steel conduit as the ground.
