How many times have you recieved the message “The disk in drive A is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?” or “A:\ is not accessible. The device is not ready.”. Floppy drives do tend to get corrupted very easily and data can be lost in bad sectors.

The interesting thing is that I can BURN a cd, and that my system recognizes each drive, and says they are working properly.
