I have been invaded by big green flying beetles. They are all over my ornamental pear trees and my carolina jessamine and my althea bushes. Can anyone tell me what they are ??? I've tried going outside but they chase me around along with the wasps and the bumble bees.

Yuk, I don't like beetles! We have things that are called * * * * shaeffer beetles that fly down our chimney and look like furry roaches! Only happens for a week usually July. First time I saw them I ... They're HUGE and make a really loud buzzing noise and whenever you spot it it always seems to be flying straight at you.

Umm....newbie gardener plants' like roses : bud/leaves, persimmon leaves and other plants are being eaten by these fingertip size beetles with greenish casts. What can I use to get rids of them but leaving my plants and basils safe enough to eat ? Thanks.
