In general, rolling clothes (instead of folding) and packing tightly helps avoid wrinkles. Placing suits dresses and skirts in plastic dry-cleaner bags limits wrinkling as well. Pack half of your stuff and half your travel partners stuff in each bag in case one bag goes missing.
