GUTZON BORGLUM; Number 53 1962; Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor, was born March 25, 1867, near Bear Lake, Idaho. Although no record of the exact place is available, several early residents of St. Charles remembered the Borglum family as living in a cabin on a site which residents there still can point out.
