More Freshwater Aquarium Answers; Question Library; ... Wolffish will grow quite large and be very predatory. I wouldn't trust him with your other fish. Wolffish have a tendancy to want to chew on anything they can reach even larger cichlids for example. I just wouldn't trust them.

Freshwater fish may only be placed within freshwater fish tanks. If you aquarium contains freshwater this wolf fish would fit in perfectly. However, if this tank is filled with salt water you will succeed in killing it.

need wolf fish info Other Characins ... Dangitseric is probably asking about freshwater wolf fish from the family Erythrinidae ; Dangitseric I'd go for an Erythrinus erythrinus as a first wolf. Stay quite small, are quite cheap and are still little nutters in personality terms.
