The Future Cities Project has been set up to critically explore issues around the city. ... What is the future for cities? Are they expanding at an ever-increasing rate or are they being abandoned and shrinking into oblivion? Are cities polluted, overcrowded and anonymous, or are they dynamic centres of innovation and culture?

Future Cities Lab is an interdisciplinary design and research collaborative bridging architecture and landscape urbanism with material sciences, robotics and engineering. FCL was initiated in 2004 by architects Jason Kelly Johnson and Nataly Gattegno.
