Templates in Time, add your site description here ... My Gee ancestors were originally from France. My ancestors lived in Werneth, Romiley and Bredbury in Cheshire. There is a village named Gee Cross in Werneth, possibly named for the Gee family. As years went on, borders in the area changed.

The Gees of Monroe, Barren, Cumberland and Metcalfe Counties descended from the brothers James and Jesse Gee, sons of Neavil Gee of Lunenburg Co, VA. Jesse moved from Lunenburg Co to Madison Co, KY before 1798. Two of his children married into the Tuder family in Madison Co.
