After I installed Photoshop 4.0, it didn't know bmp and gif file format. However there was no problem in the intallation process. What is the ... PS - in order to save as a GIF you have to go to File>Export>Gif89A and select your GIF preferences. GIF is not available under save as or save a copy under any circumstances.
