TIP: Ford makes a very good Garret T-3 turbo-to-exhaust manifold gasket, p/n E3ZZ-9450-A, intended for 1986 Ford Mustang SVOs (and maybe other years). Servicing the OEM turbo is simple and is considered a Do-It-Yourself project which will not require special tools or skills. Since the T3 turbocharger uses a pre-balanced rotating assembly, this balancing will be retained when re-assembling these units (IE: no need to balance the turbocharger after rebuild).

rebuilt garret t3 turbo. A/R.48. was told as rebuilt and looks the same. apart for your inspection. sorry, no assembly bolts/gaskets. impeller spins free, no play. no chips/nicks on impeller. nice and clean. oil and water cooled.

My manifold was made by the fabricator who did all my plumbing for the Turbo. He did an awesome job! I need to update because since I updated last I have gotten a bigger turbo and am currently doing a lot of exterior changes, along with interior as well.
