I have a friend whose house is overrun with geckos to the point that they want to find a humane way to remove or discourage the geckos. ... If you find a natural repellant let me know. Otherwise I may be contacting this group in future myself to see if someone wants to adopt a few geckoes. Thanks.

There are no practical repellents for geckos. A better approach is a thorough effort to repair window screens and to caulk and seal soffits and other openings in a home's outdoor walls to deter geckos from entering.
