Request: Getting Rid of Chipmunks ... I have chipmunks in the walls of my daughter's room near the garage, will they come into the garage? I live in western NY and it is cold. We hear them all the time. Will they go into the cold bucket if there are seeds there, or do I have to wait for spring?

I love chipmunks, but they are killing a beloved old tree, I could never have believed in getting rid of them before, but nothing kindly that we have tried works. I used everything I could find in the kitchen cupboards, garage, ... Oops. Posted enough for now. I'll post back tonight how I finally got rid of them ...
