Dear Mr. McKinsey, I've read a number of back issues of B. E., and I think I have a pretty good idea of what you're trying to do, but as far as I can see, in all this time, you've neglected one very important point that affects all your arguments, and that is this: God can do anything.

It is in essence saying that there is nothing you can say about God that will be true, because He is not like anything that we as humans can perceive. So the Muslim critic often takes the position of deriding the Christian doctrine of God and yet refuses to give a satisfactory alternative.

While it is true that God can use anything and anybody, because He is God and able to accomplish things well beyond our understanding, the issue isn't at all about what God can or cannot use to accomplish His most perfect will.

What does God's omnipotence mean? ... My answer was, yes God can do anything, He is all-powerful. But God is also all-wise, all-knowing, all-perfect etc and to create something/someone greater than Himself would be contrary to the rest of His nature. What would you say to this question...
