It seems to work really well having more decoys on one side than the other. Also try add as much movement to your decoys.

For a canadian goose decoy, I'll set them in family groups, and spread them 10-20 yards apart. The only exception to this is when the birds are bunched up and ready to migrate or for lessors. For snow geese, we generally put out large decoy spreads.
